Hi! I'm Simran Chawla. I blend product design, CX strategy, and user research to move with design challenges across their entire lifespan. Over the last 5 years, I've worked closely with diverse stakeholders, developers, and leadership to ship multiple products that exceeded user and business goals.
A year ago, I decided to go back to school at Carnegie Mellon University to get my master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction. I wanted to explore new perspectives and hone my unique, individual design practice. I've gained experience designing practical applications of AI and leading end-to-end projects. I also gained a deep appreciation for mission-driven work ad met some wonderful people! Now, I'm back in industry and looking to commit to a team for the long term.
In my free time, I enjoy gardening. I grow various hot peppers during the warm months and experiment with making my own hot sauces. I also dabble in martial arts, pen drawing, and 3D printing — all fun creative outlets. But enough about me, I'd like to know more about you!
